30-Day Return Policy

Our store has a 30-day return policy. You have the right to return a product within 30 days of delivery of your order. Only those goods that remain in their initial condition will be considered eligible for return. They should not be tampered with, overloaded, moved, used, changed, or damaged after arrival.

In case of return, please note that it needs to be approved by NJ Storage Containers before sending or picking up any item. Proof of the order (an invoice or order confirmation) is necessary for a return.

Procedure of Starting a Return

Damages and Delivery Issues

When you receive your order, make sure that you have the product that was ordered. Check its quality, and inform us about any damages, problems with the good or delivery. Provide us with a photograph or video file of the good. If a product is modified, overloaded, used, or damaged after delivery, it could be difficult to make a return, get compensation, or make a warranty claim.

Non-Returnable Items

There are certain items that are non-returnable. They include custom-made or modified goods, special order products, damaged products, modified products, products that have been moved, used, or relocated.

Used or refurbished containers or trailers may be slightly damaged. Therefore, minor cosmetic wear (including dents, scratches, paint variation, and others) may not be considered defects since the product was advertised accordingly.

Shipping and Return Fees

For delivery, a fixed shipping charge of $350 will apply, unless stated otherwise on the product description page, check-out page, invoice or order confirmation page. Once your order has been processed, prepared for shipping, dispatched, or even delivered, shipping charges cannot always be refunded anymore.

If you are returning a purchase, you might end up paying for return shipping and picking up the goods. You might be asked to pay the return or pick-up cost, along with possible storage charges.

Restocking Fee

Returns are charged a restocking fee of 10%. It is imposed in order to cover product inspection, handling, administration, as well as processing, packaging, and restocking costs. A 10% restocking fee will be subtracted from the approved refund sum. In some cases, shipping and picking-up charges, storage charges, or handling fees may also be deducted.

Refunds

Warranty

Warranty Coverage Period

Depends on the product type and product condition stated at the moment of sale. New ISO Shipping Containers have warranty of 10 years from the date of purchase. The warranty includes the leakproof guarantee. Used Cargo Worthy ISO Shipping Containers have warranty of 5 years from the date of purchase. The warranty includes the leakproof guarantee.

All products repaired or replaced by us get the remaining warranty period or 5 years from the date of repair/replacement whichever is longer.

Leakproof Guarantee

Leakproof guarantee implies that the eligible ISO shipping containers are warranted against qualified leaks within the relevant warranty period.

In case when a covered container becomes leaking and it qualifies according to our Warranty Policy, we will look into your claim and consider the most reasonable action. It may include repair, replacement, partial reimbursement, full refund or some other kind of compensation.

What the Warranty May Cover

It covers the defects in materials, manufacture and/or condition which don’t coincide with the product description stated at the moment of the sale.

Defects like the leaks not mentioned at the moment of purchase, discrepancy between the product condition mentioned and delivered product as well as malfunctions associated with doors which were not caused by the incorrect placement and poor ground condition may be also covered according to this warranty policy.

All claims made are evaluated individually and may be accompanied with proofs like photographs, videos and others.

What the Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty doesn’t cover damages and defects arising due to wear and tear, cosmetic issues (dents, scratches, variations, etc.), customer dissatisfaction regarding color or appearance.

Moreover, it doesn’t cover products that have been modified, altered, overloaded, improperly used, or moved. The same applies to any damage caused after delivery, towing, loading, improper storage, improper placement, impact, improper repair, weather issues, fires, floods, damage caused during transportation, and others.

Also, our warranty doesn’t cover any damage to property that happened inside the container or trailer.

Warranty Claiming Procedure

Tell us your order number, name of the buyer, location of the product, a clear description of the problem, and photographs or videos of the issue.

Please note that products that have been modified, altered, or returned will be not covered under the warranty.

Customer Responsibilities

Customer responsibility is to place the product on safe, level and suitable surface. Bad placement can influence negatively on door operation, leak performance and other factors. Customer responsibility is also related to safe use of the product and taking necessary measures to protect the product from damage after delivery. Customer should never cut, drill, weld, modify, relocate or repair the container without our written authorization if he wishes his warranty to stay intact.

Warranty Solution

In case a customer is eligible for a warranty, we have several options for resolving your problem. First of all, we may repair or replace the product. Another option is to refund a part of the money or issue the total refund to you.

Depending on the problem and the product, we will decide on the most appropriate way.

Important Notes

Warranty coverage can be applied only to eligible products ordered directly from us with our written confirmation. Proofs of purchase are mandatory for all warranty claims. Warranty coverage cannot be transferred unless stated otherwise in writing.
